Another Hiking Trip

I’m sorry we haven’t been updating very often. I guess laziness is a big player in that. But I’ll try to remedy that tonight.

A few weeks ago I was invited to go mountain hiking with a friend of mine. She took me to a mountain in Gyeongju, Nam Mountain. We followed a path that was also followed by a famous Korean TV show, 2 Day’s and 1 Night. The path was full of historic artifacts and relief carvings in rocks. Here are some of the pictures I took.

The Trip that was Positively EpiK!

Sorrryyyyyy...... it's really late but....

A couple of months ago, all the EPIK teachers in the area received an email saying that we were going on a cultural trip. For two days we would travel around on a bus and see some Korean culture, receive a free vacation, and miss classes on Thursday and Friday! It couldn’t get any better than that.

That Time We Spent $3,000 on Some Cameras....

Before buying the cameras....we were REALLY rich!
The weekend was Halloween. Sam, the twins, and I were going to head to Seoul to celebrate and visit Marty. But the twins and I had another thing we needed to take care of....we were going to buy cameras!!! And not just any cameras.....dslr cameras!! We had all done our research and ended up with the same results.... The canon 600d. The same camera Sam had bought 2 months ago!

(This blog is a Get-Unsick-Present for Caitlin - I'm sure she is really grateful!)

Videos From Korea!!

While in Korea, I (Courtney), was inspired by Sam's parachuting video and made a few video compilation of my own. I put them on Facebook originally, but recently have been adding them to Youtube. Here they are!

Quit drippin Hong Kong!

Greetings everyone, from another year in Korea and another birthday for me. Last year my birthday celebration was pretty laid back and relaxed; doing just a simple dinner with friends. This year though, I decided to go all out. And by all out I mean OUT of Korea even! That’s right, Courtney, the twins and I went to fantastic Hong Kong for my birthday! Haha alright I’ll admit, we didn’t go JUST for my birthday. The weekend of my birthday was Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) here. It was a bit shorter this year than last year, and some of us *cough Courtney cough* got an extra day off of work, but we all managed to make the best of our 4/5 day weekend.

Don't Let Strangers in Your House, They Will Take Away Your Holidays!

It has recently come to my attention that a particular “adventure” of mine didn’t get spoken of. Now, this is a shame, because this one moment might have change the outcome of my life forever. For now, I am no longer allowed to celebrate Christmas or Sundays. Let me explain!

(Dedicated to Caitlin Murphy….who doesn’t know what Katie Hart was talking about)
