Sam is helping me live up to my Korean nickname "Cope-ah-knee"

Halloween Weekend – we expected to spend the holiday in style – dressing up in costumes, acquiring tons of candy, and having a ton of fun. The only problems with this plan were that is that costumes are a bit hard to come by in Korea (I can’t even find clothes to buy, let alone costumes to buy) and candy gifts are a bit scarce. But fun, that was easy to get!

This Friday, as we were riding in a car to Busan, Courtney and I came to the realization that we have slowly stopped “planning” our awesome weekend trips, and just let them flow freely. This weekend we had planned to go to Busan on Friday night to see the fireworks festival. We weren’t sure who was going with us, where we were going to stay the night or even if we were going to stay the night at all. It was really all up in the air. The reason for this is because every weekend we have planned less and less and every weekend has been amazing so far. Let us tell you all about it!

We just can't get enough of these awesome weekends!

This time, it’s my turn to write about the weekend events. It's already wednesday night, and it will probably won't be posted until Thursday. Blame rock climbing, mandolin performances, the Korean language, and Robin Hood.

....and tomorrow I get to go to an amusment park!

So….maybe you haven’t noticed, but Sam and I are having a bit of trouble posting about normal everyday activities, just saving ourselves up for a big weekend post at the end. This lack of update may not make you happy, but really, we have a good reason for it. Or at least I do….maybe there is no excuse for Sam. But for me…..yeah, I have excuses! One is that a blog entry takes me to long. I don’t want to spend my free time writing a blog entry on my computer! Another is that my life is so jam packed full of fun things I just don’t have time! But tonight, I’m going to stay up late and give you a little insight into my life….

So I know, I know, everyone is wondering why we (Sam AND Courtney - because we share a blog) don’t ever write about our weeks and only our weekends. Well no worries our loyal readers, we are trying to change that! This post is indeed about our awesome weekend but shortly after this one is posted, there will be TWO more about each of our weeks prior to this weekend. We were going to the mask festival! In order to get there with plenty of tourist time, Sam and I decided to catch the 7am bus. This was early, but we thought it was do-able! Everyone else said “oh that’s so early, I’ll meet you there later” but we were set on that time!
