So this happened today of the day...

So I’m not sure if anyone has heard about this yet, or at all, but South Korea was bombed by North Korea today. Part of me was very shocked and freaked out when I heard, and the other part of me wondered why it took until 9pm for someone to mention it to me. None of the Koreans at the climbing gym tonight seemed worried about it at all so I wasn’t really sure how to feel. Then, on the way home from the climbing gym, I became aware of how I truly felt…

Courtney, Dong Hoon Jae Hyun (our Korean climbing buddies) and I were all walking to the bus stop from the climbing gym. We all take different busses home except Dong Hoon and I, and Courtney's bus is always the one that passes her and then takes 30 minutes to come again. So yeah we were walking, and we saw the bus stop far ahead of us. Courtney and the boys were talking about something, and I was spacing out, not paying attention to anything around me. Then out of no where, the boys start yelling and the next thing I see is Courtney running for her life! So I did what any sane person would have done. I started running for my life too, because for that split second where I was spaced out and they were screaming, I seriously thought we were being bombed in Pohang, and Courtney was running for cover. Seriously. That is what was going through my head when i started booking it alongside Courtney. Only seconds later was I to realize that Courtney was only running because the bus was about to pass her and she wanted to catch it.

I felt so stupid.

It was an accident....we promise!

"Yeah, we rock climb"

This weekend was going to be different from a lot of weekends. Not because we had something so exciting it couldn't be matched, but because we had nothing planned! Surprising, I know. All my teachers asked me, "So what are you doing this weekend? Where are you going? What are you going to do" My reply - "I think we're just going to stay around town this weekend. We've got nothing planned, and I think I'm on the verge of sickness."  Of course, like most of our plans, this fell through.

Mani Chupda! *많이춥다*

Im sure everyone is very excited to read yet another extremely long blog about our action packed weekend! BUT this weeks entry will be shorter because we have something new to show you. Because a picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth a million.

At least you have all your teeth.....

Sam is helping me live up to my Korean nickname "Cope-ah-knee"
Halloween Weekend – we expected to spend the holiday in style – dressing up in costumes, acquiring tons of candy, and having a ton of fun. The only problems with this plan were that is that costumes are a bit hard to come by in Korea (I can’t even find clothes to buy, let alone costumes to buy) and candy gifts are a bit scarce. But fun, that was easy to get!

P.S. Get ready for a TON of pictures
